Annoesjka received her University degree in Human Nutrition in 1992 at the Agricultural University Wageningen, the Netherlands. She followed post-doctoral education in Clinical Epidemiology at the Erasmus University Rotterdam where she graduated in 1998.

Practical periods were conducted at Nutricia Research (Zoetermeer) and the World Health Organization (Regional office WHO, Copenhagen).
